CJ Senkow - Head Coach
Hi, I am Lyndin Lewis. I was born and raised in Grimshaw, Alberta, where I started playing hockey at age three. By the age of 15 I made the move to GP to be involved in the GPAC program. During my first year of U16AAA we won the league and came second in provincials. My next two years were spent with the U18AAA program where I made lifelong friendships and developed the skills to play at the next level. After my time in GPAC, I continued my hockey career by playing Junior A for the Drayton Valley Thunder, Grande Prairie Storm and Lloydminster Bobcats. During my season as a 20 year old, I made the move back to GP to play Junior B for the Kings, where we became league champions. Once I completed junior, I transitioned to senior hockey with the Grande Prairie Athletics senior AA team, where I continue to play today. During my time with the Athletics we have won a league Championship and played in four finals.
My coaching journey began in 2019 at the Junior B level and am now into my second season as an Assistant coach with the U18AAA team. I am in the process of receiving my High Performance coaching certificate to become a mentor, and leader in developing hockey players to reach their full potential. Hockey is my biggest passion and I look forward to creating a culture of success.
About me personally, I have a beautiful wife, Caylin and two dogs, Charlie and Finley. Beyond hockey, I am passionate about golf and travelling. I endeavour to play 2 bucket-list golf courses and travel to at least one new country every year.
I work for Grainger Canada as an Account Manager where I look after clients all over the Peace Country. Everyday I am reminded of the lifelong impacts of a hockey career as many of the close relationships I have in business, stemmed from my background in hockey. This is a part of the game I continue to cherish.
I would like to thank GPAC for the opportunity to coach in the program and the players/parents for their ongoing support to help make the program a success.
